The Young Science Fiction Readers Group (YSFRG) was formed in 1960 for the BSFA's under-25 members. Its stated purpose was to introduce new people to fandom.

Jim Linwood was the founding member of this group which initially was around 30 members worldwide, including Darroll Pardoe, Mary Munro, Brian Jordan, Peggy Rae McKnight, Robert Lichtman, and Andy Main. It published the YSRFG Newsletter. The YSFRG folded in 1961.
