The 11th British Filk Convention, XIlophone, was held February 5–7, 1999, at the Hilton National Hotel in Basingstoke, UK. The Overseas Guest was Dave Clement (Canada) and the UK Guest was Lawrence Dean. It was chaired by Mike Whitaker.
