Steve Savitzky

A fan and filker who lives with his wife Colleen Savitzky in the Seattle area, where they moved in 2012. He is a performer and song writer.

At their previous residence in the Bay Area, Grand Central Starport, they hosted a regular Wednesday night filk gathering for many years.

In 1989 Steve and Colleen took a suite at BayFilk (which was immersed in a major fannish feud at the time and didn't have a con suite) and declared it to be the Neutral Zone with all filkers welcome. Consonance, BayFilk's replacement in part grew out of that.

Colleen and Steve were inducted into the Filk Hall of Fame in 2008.
