A Melbourne fan and con-runner. He found fandom in 1982 and since about 1990 has been a committee member for most Australian Natcons. He was a division head for Facilities for Aussiecon 3 and Aussiecon 4 and was a board member of Victorian Science Fiction Conventions, inc. He has been a long-time member of the Mark Protection Committee. He is married to fellow fan Janice Gelb.
