Scott Meredith, born Scott Feldman, was a fan and one of the founders in 1941 of The National Fantasy Fan Federation (N3F). He was a director of the QSFL and attended Boskone I.

Meredith and his brother Sidney founded the Scott Meredith Literary Agency in New York in 1946. They landed their first big-name client, the British humorist, P. G. Wodehouse, shortly thereafter. Among their sf clients was Arthur C. Clarke.
