Ronald S. Friedman was a Brooklyn fan who was founder and president of the Universal Musketeers, a fan club established in 1949, and was criticized for the way he ran it. He also founded and helmed the Teens Fantascience Club. In March 1952, he merged them into the International Scientific Council, of which, we assume, he was also prexy.

Friedman served in the National Guard during this period, which, he claimed, interfered with his fanac.
