Pete Daniels was a member of the Liverpool Group. He served on the Loncon program committee and as an auctioneer at the 1957 Worldcon.

He was leader and horn player with the Merseysippi Jazz Band; at the Loncon, his group played at the Fancy-Dress Ball.

He contributed to fanzines, including Space Diversions and Ploy.
