Phenderson “Phen” Djéli Clark (né Dexter Gabriel) is a New England pro and academic. (Djéli can be pronounced “Jel-ee” or “Jah-lee.” The D is silent.)
Born in New York and raised mostly in Houston, TX, he spent his early life in the homeland of his parents, Trinidad and Tobago.
