A bid to host the 1982 Worldcon in New Orleans. It was chaired by John Guidry and other bid committee members included Jeremy Barry, Lester Boutillier, Doris Butler, John Dilworth, Tom Longo and Bob Lupton.

The bid seems to have been announced in late 1977. It faded away at some point and did not file. (See 1982 Worldcon Site Selection.)

Mike Glyer commented about the committee membership in File 770 #1, "If not all are household names, the absence of past feud-ensnared bidders may help."
