Neil Kaden was a Dallas, Texas-area fanzine and con-running fan, a transplanted New Yorker who really adopted his new locale, cowboy boots and all. He had an infectious smile and an encouraging manner.

He co-chaired Ditto 13 with his wife, Cris Kaden, and maintained a Ditto website for a number of years.

Neil founded DAAPA. He was a member of TAPS, APPLESAUCE, CANADAPA, VANAPA and ANZAPA.

He had been ill with Parkinson’s Disease since 2005.
