Born Nancy Share and often called Nan, Nancy Rapp entered fandom in the 1940s, writing and drawing for fanzines. She sometimes signed her illos Kabu. Her sister, Marie Louise Share, was also a fan.
She was nicknamed “Sweet Unspoiled Miss Nanshare” by Lee Jacobs while Eney called her a “rosy-cheeked flower of Pennsylvania girlhood.”
She married fan Art Rapp in 1961. She invented the fannish ghod Ignatz. She taught her son to stick out his tongue and go "pfft!" when the N3F was mentioned.
