Manson Brackney, called Manse and Brack, was a founder of the Minneapolis Fantasy Society. He was a friend of Poul Anderson's, and Anderson tuckerized variations of Brackney’s name for the hero of several of his books.
Manse attended the 1942 Michiconference.
