(1906 – 1988)

John Myers Myers was an American writer, best known for his fantasy novel Silverlock (1949), which tells the story of A. Clarence Shandon's peregrinations through the Commonwealth of Letters. He encounters many well-known and obscure characters from literature.

A Silverlock Companion: The Life and Works of John Myers Myers was published in 1988 by Niekas Publications and reprinted in 1989 by Borgo Press; the 52-page pamphlet was edited by Fred Lerner. A revised and updated version was incorporated into the NESFA Press edition of Silverlock (2004).
