George R. Hahn, a 1930s New York fan, sometimes used the penname Whimsy.

He pubbed the fanzine The Asteroid and almost pubbed Fantasia. He may have been involved with Ego-Coop and the Super Science Fiction Special.

Some accounts say he attended the First Convention in Philadelphia in 1936; this is disputed by the reminiscences that appeared in Phoxphyre. Apparently, he had visited Bob Madle on his own shortly before it.
