FilKONtario 7 was a filk convention held April 11-13, 1997 at the Venture Inn Airport Etobicoke in Toronto. The GoH was Talis Kimberley, the Official Filk Waifs were Clif Flynt and Carol Flynt, and the Interfilk Guest was Doug Wu.

The subject of the songwriting contest was "Songs based on written SF or fantasy", it was chaired by Judith Hay. Lee Gold, Barry Gold, J. Spencer Love and Margaret Middleton were added to the Filk Hall of Fame.
