Equicon '87 was a Star Trek/Media convention held April 17-19, 1987 at the Sheraton-Universal Hotel in Universal City, CA. GoH was Harlan Ellison. Other guests included David Gerrold, Rick Sternbach, Andrew Probert, Warren James, William Campbell, Catherine Hicks, Alvy Moore, Richard Arnold, Robert H. Justman, Jon Davison, Noelle North, Arnold Liebovit, Syd Mead, Kathryn Leigh Scott, Paul Kent, Carl Stevens, Bob Gurr, and Terry Erdmann. There was a Masquerade, and entertainment was provided by dance troupe Aftermath. It was chaired by Bjo and John Trimble.
