Empiricon 2

Empiricon 2 was a convention held July 4-6, 1980 at the Prince George Hotel in New York City. The GoHs were David G. Hartwell, the Fan GoH was Marc Glasser. It was chaired by Jon Estren.

There may have been other GoHs, but sources differ. One source says "musical guests The Bermuda Triangle, Fred Kuhn, Andy Breckman" while another says that Freff, Hal Clemenbt, Barry N. Malzberg and Samuel R. Delany" were additional guests. The latter group seems to be more likely to have been distinguished people attending the convention rather than GoHs.
