Ditto 1 was held in September 1988 in Toronto. Organized by Bob Webber, Taral, Mike Glicksohn, Alan Rosenthal and Catherine Crockett.
Boyd Raeburn was selected as the GoH but "Due to circumstances beyond our control, he is not available this weekend to attend Ditto."
Some sort of problem — described by the committee as "technical difficulties" — made them announce the possible abandonment of the originally announced date for September/October (which, as seen above, happened.)
