ConClave VIII was held November 11-13, 1983 at the Sheraton Hotel in Ann Arbor, MI. The GoH was Marta Randall and the Fan GoH was Bill Maraschiello. The convention co-chairs were Tom Barber and Anna O'Connell.
Spider Robinson was initially the GoH, and we do not know why he was not the final GoH.
