A bid to hold the 2008 Worldcon in Chicago. The bid was chaired by Dave McCarty and sponsored by Chicago Worldcon Bid. It's competition was Denver in 2008 and Columbus in 2008.

Chicago Deep Dish was a one-shot bidzine published by the bid committee.

The Denver in 2008 bid won (by a margin of only 12 votes!) and hosted Denvention 3.

Much the same committee bid again as Chicago in 2012 and won.
