The first Chattacon, Chattacon '76 (also called Chatta-Khon), was a relaxacon held January 2–4, 1976, at the Sheraton Motor Inn in Chattanooga, TN. The GoH was Cliff Amos and the MC was Meade Frierson. It was organized by Irv Koch and attendance was 80.
