Billy Joe Plott is a fan living in Alabama who was active in the late 50s and early 60s, was one of the founders of SFPA, gafiated and returned to fandom in 2012. He also was a member of the ISFCC, N3F, SFA (of which he was secretary), and SFG.

He has published Greetings Earthling, Maelstrom and the apazine Sporadic (for SFPA), and has published Remembering Al Andrews and Letters from Lloyd Biggle under the Banshee Press imprint.
