Balticon 16 was a convention held Easter weekend, April 9-11, 1982 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Baltimore, MD, The GoHs were Samuel R. Delany and Michael Whelan, and the FGoH was D. Potter. Janny Wurts was the featured artist.
It was chaired by Edie Williams with Pat Kelly as vice-chairman. Attendance was around 3000. The convention seems to have had serious problems with parties, with one hotel renting suites for parties, but not allowing any food or drink to be served in them.
