A Philadelphia fan, Allison Williams (later Phillips) was a member of PSFS and co-editor of its OO, Variant, in 1947. She attended Cinvention in 1949.
She was a daughter of James Williams, president of PSFS. Allison's mother, Margaret, died when Allison was 3. As a result, Allison lived with other relatives throughout her childhood, in Wisconsin and Florida, as well as Pennsylvania.
Like her father, Allison served as president of the club. She married Alexander Phillips, a pro who became a PSFS president, too. The family tradition of fannish involvement continued with Margaret Trebing, Allison and Alexander’s daughter, who also became a PSFS officer.
She was still alive as of 2021.
