Alexa Klettner is a German fan and filker active since 1997. She was one of the founders of the German filk convention DFDF.
She is also an eminent scientist. She holds the habilitation degree, a European degree beyond the Ph.D., and she won a monetary award from the German Ophthalmological Society for discovering a cure for a previously untreatable blinding eye disease.
