(???? – )

John A. Wiseman was a UK fan from Sidcup in Kent active in the 1940s and 1950s . He was a member of the Science Fantasy Society (SFS). Described in Science Fantasy News #3 as 'one of the younger generation of fans', he argued that:

I can't think why anyone should deem an SFS badge necessary – any fan would be far more conspicuous carrying a TWS - or, if he'd rather, an Astounding.

He had published letters in Science Fantasy Review (Gillings) and New Worlds.

He does not appear in the Directory of Science Fiction Fandom for 1955 although he does appear in later editions.
