(???? – )

Bill Gray was a fan from Cheltenham, UK active in the 1950s and 1960s. He was a member of the Cheltenham Circle.

He was a relatively new member of the group when the London Circle visited at Whitsun 1959. Bob Richardson said in Smoke #1 (July 1959) that Gray wrote the 'Ceremony of Welcome to the Cheltenham Chapter of the Most Noble and Illustrious Order of St. Fantony'. He presided 'in a really astounding costume rather resembling Richard III. His make-up, though, surpassed his costume. He really looked like Richard III'. Keith Freeman later recalled that the ceremony was re-written by Richardson as Gray was almost certainly a freemason and the original version was too close to a Masonic ceremony[1]. Bobbie Wild was one of the London visitors. She married Gray in September 1959 and to Cheltenham.

Gray was seemingly a podiatrist[2].
