(2) The Technology Amateur Press Association[edit]
The Technology (or Technological -- sources differ) Amateur Press Association was founded in 1966 by Mike Ward as an attempt to encourage fannishness in sercon MITSFS ("We're not fans -- we just read the stuff!"). In this it was a failure, but it did introduce fans such as Tony Lewis, Ed Meyer and Suford Lewis to fandom. It lasted 10 mailings.
