Richard Kyle

(1929 -- 2016)

SF and comic book fan Kyle was a member of First Fandom and served as associate editor and art director of the club's fanzine, Scientifiction: The First Fandom Report.

His photo and brief biography appeared in Schelly's Founders of Comic Fandom (McFarland, 2010). He is credited with creating the terms "graphic story" and "graphic novel."
