Stunned Mullet fanzine published by John Bangsund in Kingston, Australia for ANZAPA. It seems there were two first issues and no second.

In one of the first issues, Bangsund wrote:

Why (he said) – why on earth another new fanzine? You've already started one new fanzine this year, and look what happened to that? After only one issue! Aha (I said), there you just about have it. I (I said) shall explain all. And I did. As follows:

In a summary of his past publishing ventures included in Philosophical Gas 50 (November 1979), Bangsund said of this title:

Stunned Mullet
(7 or 8 issues) lived up to its name from the start. No.1 was printed offset. The printer went on holidays. I couldn't wait for him to return, so I did the other no. 1 on the Roneo. How was I to know that he'd done the job before he went? Leigh lists no.1, but not no.1. He also lists no.2, which I'm pretty sure I didn't publish, but you never know; certainly I don't have a copy. No.4, not listed, I think was part of Philosophical Ferret, which I think was a modified version of PG 33; I have a copy of SM 4 but not PF.
