Alistair Ferguson was a UK fan likely from Prestwich or nearby, active in the 1950s. When John B. Hall took over the Lakeland S.F. Organisation (LSFO) and later decided that the 'L' now stood for London, he issued a circular around spring 1955 claiming the organisation had four branches. The one in Prestwich[1] was headed by Ferguson, although we don't know how many other members there were, if any. Ferguson also contributed to Galactic Star.
