Anthony 'Tony' Hill was a fan and fan artist from Stourbridge, UK active in the 1950s and 1960s. He was a member of the Stourbridge Circle (SADO) and Ken Cheslin described him as 'a sort of shorter John Cleese'[1].
Hill joined SADO in response to a newspaper advertisement in 1959[2]. In 1960 the group were meeting in his spare room and he contributed artwork to the clubzine, Les Spinge. Some SADO members continued to meet in his house, mainly for wargaming, and in the pub he managed until he moved to Shropshire around 1970.
According to Cheslin, Hill worked as a manager in the glass factory. Later he became a sales rep and a publican and was last heard of with a post office in Shropshire[3].
