A. Williams was a fan from Yeovil in Somerset active in the 1950s. He was a member of the Supermancon although it's not known is he was present. He was listed in Ron Bennett's Directory of Science Fiction Fandom of 1955 but not later.
He's definitely a different person from A. E. 'Taffy' Williams as both are listed as members of Supermancon. It's possible that it's Arthur Williams but he hadn't been in evidence for at least five years and was last known in Liverpool and before that London so it seems unlikely. Plus it's a common enough name.
