'The Harp in England' was originally a 15-page convention report written by Walt Willis which first appeared in Lee Hoffman's Quandry issues 11–13 (June–August 1951). It covered Willis's trip to Festivention in May 1951.

The title was reused in Quandry #22 (July 1952) for another Willis convention report, this time of the London SF Con of May 1952.

Both were reprinted in Warhoon #28.

The title was reused again in March 2023 by Dave Langford for an Ansible Editions ebook fanthology of seven Willis conreports including both of the Quandry reports.
