(???? – late August 2024)

John Nicholas 'Nick' Mills was a UK con-running fan active from the 1970s. He was on the committee of the Eastercons Illumination (1992) and Paragon (2001). He was, from around 1985 and perhaps later, a member of the apa APA-B/The Organisation[1].

A committee biographical piece in the first progress report for Novacon 16 (1986) where he co-ran programme, a role later refined to film, said:

Began his fannish career as a member of the Warwick University crowd, first convention Novacon 7 [1977] (so where the Hell has he been hiding for the last ten years?). Now, desperate for fame and fortune, he has volunteered for a con committee.

He later ran operations for Novacon 19 and Novacon 20, and chaired Novacon 21.

He continued to attend conventions up to 2024.

In July 2004 he was a contender on the BBC radio quiz Brain of Britain.
