Liz Batty is a British fan, conrunner and podcaster, active since the 2000s. She is currently resident in Thailand.

She attended the 2004 Eastercon where she was part of the group that became known as Third Row Fandom and became one of the editors of the BSFA's journal Vector from 2007 to 2009.

As a conrunner, she usually works on programme, most notably as a deputy division head for Loncon 3.

In March 2020, and along with John Coxon and Alison Scott, she launched the fannish podcast Octothorpe. It was a Hugo Award finalist in 2022 and 2023, and its 100th episode was released on January 4, 2024. Later that year it won the Hugo Award.

ISFDB notes that the name 'Liz' is 'Perhaps a thinly disguised pseudonym for a person called Elizabeth.'
