(???? – August 29, 1940)

Edward 'Ted' Wade was a Leeds, UK, fan active in the 1930s.

The first issue of Futurian War Digest (October 1940) reported:

DEATH OF TED WADE - - - We regret to announce the death on active service of Edward Wade, an ex-member of the Leeds SFL. Ted left us in 1936 to join the R.A.F. but retained his interest in fantasy. He was member number 12 of the SFA, which was founded just after he left Leeds[1].

Then an RAF corporal, Wade was killed early in World War II when a munitions dump exploded at RAF Scampton.
