Leybl Botwinik (aka Leon Botwinik) is a Canadian-born Israeli fan and author who has published the clubzine CyberCozen since 2015. He is a member of the Israeli Society for Science Fiction and Fantasy.

He speaks fluent Yiddish and writes sf in that language, including a 1980 novel, Di Geheyme Shlikhes (The Secret Mission). He is a son of the late Yiddish music composer David Botwinik. In mundane life, Botwinik is a technical writer and software engineer. Born in Montreal, he graduated from the Peretz School, Bialik Middle School, Vanier College and Concordia University in Quebec. He married Malka Emilia Teshuva and immigrated to Israel in 1989. They have two sons and a daughter and live in Tel Aviv.
