Elizabeth Rosalind “Betsy” Wollheim is president of DAW Books, as well as publisher and editor in chief, the latter roles shared with Sheila Gilbert. She was an associate editor there beginning in 1975. She sold the company in 2022, but continues to work there.

The daughter of Donald and Elsie Wollheim, company founders, she took over management in 1985. As a teenager in the 1960s, she appeared in costume at a number of Worldcons.

She married musician Peter Stampfel in the 1970s, his second wife. In 2022, she appeared in a documentary, Casa Susanna, discussing her father’s cross dressing.
