(January 17, 1931 – February 8, 2009)
Anna Katharine Sinclare Moffatt, nicknamed “Stfanna,” was an LA area fan. She chaired SoLaCon, the 1958 Worldcon. (At that convention she made fannish history by killing the controversial WSFS, Inc., announcing firmly, “This is the Business Meeting of the Sixteenth World Science Fiction Convention,” to wild applause.)
She was Secretary of the Outlanders, a member of LASFS and of the N3F. She was one of the original associate members of CAPA. She was the first wife of fellow fan Len Moffatt, whom she married February 17, 1951, and divorced in 1964.
