Luke McGuff, a Seattle fan, was fiction editor of the semiprozine New Pathways in the late 1980s. He chaired Potlatch 6 and Potlatch 13. He ran for TAFF in 1989.
McGuff edited the posthumous tributezine to Randy Byers, Thy Life's a Miracle: Selected Fannish Writings of Randy Byers, in 2019. Born in Chicago, he is married to Julie McGuff.
