(August 5, 1956 – March 25, 2021)

Sylvain St-Pierre, a Montreal fan, was an active member of MonSFFA and served as its treasurer. He worked as assistant director of the masquerade at the 2009 Worldcon, Anticipation, and did translations for con publications. He was fluently bilingual in French and English. He worked on Con*Cept, as well.

“Sylvain was a fixture of Montreal fandom,” wrote Mark Shainblum, “it’s almost impossible to imagine it without him.”

Sylvain was a semi-retired business administration technician. He died suddenly of Covid-19. His mother also became very ill with the disease.
