Gary Cohn is a writer best remembered in fandom for “Rules of Moopsball,” first published in Damon Knight's anthology Orbit 18 (1976), which described the play of a fictional game fans made real.

He later became a comic-book writer for DC and Marvel. He had a day job as a high-school teacher on Long Island.
