South Boston, Massachusetts SF fan Francis V. Paro was a charter member of The National Fantasy Fan Federation (N3F) in 1941.

He was also a member of The Stranger Club and first editor of the club's fanzine Fanfare.

A founding member article on Paro, by Jon D. Swartz, was published in December, 2018 issue National Fantasy Fan.
