David F. Bischoff was an American fan and SF and television writer who has published several books, including the erotic novel, The Diplomatic Touch (2001). He was a member of the Washington in '77 Worldcon bid.

He served as secretary (1978-1980) and vice-president (1980-1981) of SFWA.

He used several pen names, including Mark Grant, Dave F. Bischoff, and Michael F. X. Milhaus.
