(???? – )

Betty Peters was a UK fan originally from Scotland and later London active in the 1960s. She was a member of the Science Fiction Club of London. Her husband was fellow fan Ian Peters and together they were participants in convention costume balls.

Skyrack #33 (June 1961) reports that she and Ian were new recruits to the Science Fiction Club of London. They attended the 1964 Eastercon in Peterborough where they won a prize for 'most authentic SF characters' with their Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser costumes. At Loncon II in 1965 their John Carter and Dejah Thoris costumes were judged 'most authentic' (Ratatosk #19). According to Peter Weston writing in Prolapse #12 in 2008 they also won what he described as 'Britain' forgotten award', the Bob Richardson Memorial Award for Most Authentic Heroic Fantasy Costume(s) presented here for the first time.
