Vincent Manning, an Indiana fan, was a member of the Decker Dillies. He published Pluto with Marvis Manning, and attended Chicon, the 1940 Worldcon, and Denvention the following year.
Like all the Dillies, Vincent had gafiated by the end of World War II. Vincent’s other avocation was as a radio ham.
There is no evidence in the public records that Marvis had a relative named Vincent, however a 1941 newspaper article refers to them as brothers. There are a number of Vincent Mannings in the census records in the first half of the 20th century, but none connected to Marvis' immediate family. The one photo available of Vincent taken in 1941 indicates he was probably in his 20s.
