Art Gnaedinger was an early Boston-area fan, a member of the The Stranger Club. He was attending Harvard and involved in radio dramatizations. He made a recording of an old Amazing story, 'The Talking Brain' by M. H. Hasta, that impressed the club.
He was the son of Mary Gnaedinger, editor of Famous Fantastic Mysteries.
