Larry Niven is pro Hard SF writer who lives in Los Angeles. His best-known work is Ringworld, which received Hugo, Nebula, Locus, and Ditmar Awards. He is married to fan "Fuzzy Pink" Niven and is a member of LASFS.
He was GoH at ConFrancisco, the 1993 Worldcon.
He co-authored the fannish novel Fallen Angels with Jerry Pournelle and Michael F. Flynn.
