Cele Goldsmith Lalli served as editor of Amazing Stories and Fantastic from 1958-1965. Her magazines received nominations for the Best Professional Magazine Hugo in 1960-1964, 1966, and 1970-1972. She received a special committee award from Chicon III for editing Amazing and Fantastic. After Amazing and Fantastic were sold to Sol Cohen, she became Editor-in-Chief of Modern Bride until her retirement.
